| Hi, for me I found it best to have lessons in the morning then try to put into practice what I had hopefully learnt in the afternoon. plus it removed the temptation to sleep late and lose part of the day. |

| Stick to lessons in the morning. This allows you to learn in the morning and then practice in the afternoon. It will also help you not to get into bad habits. |

Yep, Borovets again!
I fancied a change this year but my lass has been ill so we are going back there as we know the area and Chris is still gaining fitness (if that makes sense).
Can't wait. Skis are in the shop for servicing, new kit bought (helmet for safety: can't keep banging on about safety and then not wear a helmet ) Going 23rd Feb for a week and staying at the Ela again. |

You certainly love that place.
Good luck with it will be great once again.
Did you see the article that I wrote in the Ski Bulgaria section ?
I've just got back from skiing Rauris, Austria (great time) but some of the skiers I was with said that they would't consider Bulgaria cos of the crime rate.
I've never experienced it myself, nor do I know anybody who has.
What about you?
Best wishes for a great hol.

No I haven't experienced any crime but I can well believe that there might be a bit about!
I have heard of one person having kit stolen from thier room but nothing to write home about to be honest. I have not heard of any muggings or anything like that. The thing about the room was 'hearsay'.
But it has to be understood that it is still to all intents and purposes a poorer country trying to drag itself out of the old 'Iron Curtain' mentality and they really are trying.
And I might add, doing a good job of it most of the time.
There has been nothing that prevents us going back. No one has ever tried to rip us off of steal from us (that I am aware of, anyway) |
