Have only skiied in Kitzbuhel for one day - on a day out from nearby resort, but was really impressed with the place. The skiing was excellent and the village was lively amd had everything there that you could want - even non skiers. The only downside at the moment is that their snow conditions aren't as good as rest of Europe (read 'News' section) but still reported as being fair with 97% of lifts open.
I hope the new section on Ski Fitness was good for you, and I hope you have a great time, as i'm sure you will.

It was great. The had been a fair amount of snow before we got there and it snowed constantly for one day. The slopes were in good shape, plenty to keep all the group happy. The runs were well linked, well signed and the staff had smiles on their faces. Although we did not use the ski bus to take us to the nearby resorts did speak to others who had - and they were positive about the service, and the other slopes

Plus it was down hill ski week! took a look at the main run and felt faint. The atmosphere around the town was amazing.

All in all a great trip

And yes, the fitness tips were a great help, I did not have the same aches and pains at the end of the day, adding to a top trip thanks Geoff

Thanks for the report Cathy, and glad you had a great week.
You didn't mention your hotel or apres ski, but from what I know of Austria & Kitzbuhel in particular, I bet they were both spot on too.

As for myself went skiing to Valloire in France which is a great resort.
Not as big as Kitzbuhel but quite large nontheless.
This was my second time there, (report to follow) so that speaks volumes.
The skiing and town are great but this year I chose a hotel on the main drag to the Village Disco and was kept awake every night with revellers shouting, singing and quite often fighting. Nine times out of ten the voices were English !!!
Would certainly ski here again but not from the Hotel Touring !!!
